Nec 2000 Ips Command Manual
I have recently taken over managing an NEC NEAX 2000 IVS.
There are 200 Extensions setup on this system but nowhere near as many handsets.
I have tried to setup a couple of new phones (IP Dterm) on unused extensions but they are coming up as “double assignment”.
I know how to fix the double assignment issue, but is there a way to report on IP phones that are currently active or extension numbers that are configured but do not have an active IP phone associated?
I would like to mark all spare extensions for future use.
Thanks Our company has recently taken over tech support for another company in our building, and they are using an old NEC PBX phone system that has been a nightmare to decipher. I've managed to learn some rudimentary operations for maintenance and troubleshooting, but we are now faced with some greater programming challenges as their company structure has changed radically and the phone system needs to reflect this.
I've been scouring the internet for resources on how to program the system through the MATWorX console, but have thus far only been able to get my hands on a brief document called 'IPS 2000 Administration' from the company that installed the system which shows some basic functions but has little to no explanation of how or why they work. I was hoping someone here could point me in the direction of a more complete manual, specifically a command list for the MOC interface, or give me any insight you may have into how to handle this system.
Thanks
