1. renaming the installshield foldier in programfiles/common to installshield1

But none of them works, the 1st option didn't do anything and the 2nd one did something like deleting the registry i think, i can open the uninstaller on the control panel but after i tried to uninstall i got another error code saying '1628: Failed to complete installation'
I tried to reinstall the game through the disk but instead i got a new error code saying error -1605: this action is only valid for products that are currently installed
i am guessing because the data of this game is on the old hard drive but what am i supposed to do to delete this game entirely from my hard drives? i didn't even use the hard drive anymore but it is still listed on the software on control panel and its bugging me.
